Jan Bultheel worked for 20 years directing and producing mainly commercials within his own production company ‘Pix & Motion’ based in Brussels, which brought him international recognition with numerous awards. In the new millennium Jan concentrated on creative work for theater and dance companies. He authored, designed and directed ‘Hareport’, an animated series for children produced by TF1 and Ketnet. In 2015 his first animated feature CAFARD was premiered at FFO with international press acclaim.

Jan is now focussing on graphic novels. 'Zicht op zee' a graphic novel about a possible biography of the Belgian marine painter Louis Artan is now available. 'Onze James. de vrouwen van Ensor' is published by Lannoo publishers and is available in regular bookstores in Belgium.
